The Double J Ranches are committed to raising the highest quality performance horses in the most favorable environments available in the United States.
Approximately
15-20 foals each spring arrive in the over 100 acres of picturesque mountain pastures located in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania.
Included in each foal crop are several
embryo transfers out of proven performance bloodlines in cutting, reining, and reined cow horses. Routine maintenance of each foal in this safe environment is the ranch
staff's greatest priority.
Once the foals turn two training begins in the Purcell, Oklahoma location. Mild winters in the center of the great southwest horse country provide the ideal training and marketing location. The ranch is located 4 miles off the I35 interstate on the corner of 150 Street and Sooner Avenue. This training facility is located on a rolling 100 acres of central Oklahoma real estate centered around a 125' by 250' covered pen and barnmaster stalls. This ranch is only 45 minutes to the Oklahoma city Fairgrounds.
Double J Ranch horses are marketed to the public at both locations, with an adequate inventory of horses always available. The horses not purchased by the public are shown and promoted by the Double J Ranch staff and owner Jim and daughter Jenna Blumer in the non pro classes of the American Quarter Horse Association, American Paint Horse Association, National Cutting Horse Association, and the National Reining Horse Association. Visitors are always welcome, appointments appreciated.
